Musar establishes old vine division

Château Musar has plans to establish an Old Wine division within the company to respond to increased demand from Canada, the US, Europe and Japan for its older vintages, especially the Chateau whites made with Lebanese Merweh and Obaideh grapes. The details still have to be finalized, but owners Serge and Ronald Hochar intend to classify all wines ten years and older as Old Wines. They have also decided to release for the first time from their private collection vintages as old as the ‘56 red and the ‘54 white.
